We have built the cloud constantly monitors the status of servers in the cloud, and features an extremely valuable automatic failover process if a hypervisor becomes unavailable. Failover is initiated in 15 seconds if  the OnApp software receives no response from a hypervisor, and the virtual machines it hosts are automatically migrated to another suitable hypervisor in the cloud. Virtual machine backups can also be automated, in addition to manual backup and restore functions.

the owaCLOUD features extremely robust failover mechanisms, with intelligent monitoring of cloud services and nodes, and automatic service restoration in case of failure. If a hypervisor fails, owaCLOUD will automatically relocate its virtual machines and reroute application data. owaCLOUD also enables automatic periodic data backup, as well as emergency backup, as part of a disaster recovery system. owaCLOUD controls the physical and virtual routing of SANs, which enables seamless SAN failover management. This ensures system reliability and enterprise-class resilience for your cloud hosting service.
