Rebel Networks expands VPN service to 53 New Global Locations
Rebel Networks expands VPN service, adding 53 new global locations through a strategic partnership. The new VPN service is considered an add-on to the existing VPN offering.
The VPN service will also include an iOS app and an Android app that will allow users to secure up to 5 devices. It will support Windows, Mac, and Linux Operating Systems. “Our goal is to help our customers secure their devices and computers, and this solution is simple and accomplishes this goal.” Stated Domenic Macchione, President and CEO of Rebel Networks.
Rebel Networks also have a different VPN service that is primarily more restrictive and focus more on business Servers and Corporate Networks. The services that monitor and log all activities for corporate clients. That service will not be discontinued and will continue to be used.
This New VPN offering does not monitor or cap bandwidth. It will use standard protocols such as OpenVPN, UDP/TCP, IKEV2, L@TP/IPSEC, PPTP, It is more of a consumer product, that is easy to use and set up.
